Welcome back for another semester everyone; I hope winter break was loads of fun! It won't be long till we'll be leaving our scarves and winter coats behind and get ready for spring break and summer. As you can see from today's photos, we are somewhat lucky here at Duke where winters are mild and dry, allowing for less bundling up and more experimentation with light layering.
Anna is a junior from Florida, a sister of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and she studies Psychology and Art History.

| What first drew me in were Anna's tassel loafers which much to my surprise, though a staple of Americana Prep Culture, were purchased in Europe. Also a favourite is her paisley scarf which adds just the right amount of colour to balance it all. |
Christmas Giveaway - Throw It In The Bag
Winter has finally made its way to North Carolina, and everyone here at Duke is either thinking about getting done with finals or about going home. For all of you who have already finished with your fall semesters congratulations and I hope you did great; for everyone else, chin up, you're almost there! Laura is a Senior from Charlotte, NC and she is majoring in Public Policy. She is a sister of the Alpha Phi sorority and enjoys spinning and Europe. I was lucky to be her guest for Thanksgiving in 2008.

Sarah is a Senior from Virginia majoring in Art History and Literature and Cultural Theory. She has a quirky/funky and most importantly lovable personality and her sartorial choices always positively surprise me in their originality and choice of chromatic palettes.
